2nd Quarter Reflection
In the second quarter, I learned a lot about archery and myself. I discovered that staying focused is key to hitting the target, even when I'm tired. I also found out how to manage my time better, like setting aside hours for practice and study. This helped me see that sports can teach life skills, such as patience and hard work. I feel stronger now because I didn't quit, and I improved my aim by practicing every day.
The biggest problems I faced were balancing school and archery. I had lots of homework and tests, which made me feel stressed and tired. Sometimes, I missed archery practice or did poorly in games because I was too worn out. I almost gave up because it felt like I couldn't do both well, and my grades started to slip a little.
To fix these challenges, I talked to my coach and my parents for help. They suggested making a daily schedule, so I planned my time for school in the morning and archery in the afternoon. I also asked my teachers for extra time on assignments when needed. This way, I cut down on stress and got better at both.Moving on, I will keep balancing school and archery by sticking to my schedule and asking for help early. I want to join more competitions and aim for better scores. I'll also practice more at home to get even stronger. This way, I won't feel like giving up again.
